Wilpattu National Park is the largest and oldest National park in Sri Lanka. The National Park is home to abundant wildlife including leopards, elephants, crocodiles, sloth bears, and many more animals and birds. The Park is open all year round, but the most popular time to visit during May to October.
Wilpattu Safari Tour Itinerary
- You must start your safari and depart at 5:00 am from the hotel location at Anuradhapura.
- Explore the wild animal traveling in a 4×4 open safari jeep.
- You can experience a fantastic wildlife safari in the largest National Park in Sri Lanka.
- Discover 3 hours inside the Wilpattu National park exploring Spotted leopards, Elephants, Bears, and different types of animals.
- The park is situated bordering the Indian Ocean and with small lakes and grasslands.
- You can look for more animals and have the opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat.
- You can look out for wild Leopards, Asian elephants, Bears, big crocodiles, spotted dears, wild boars, different types of foreign and endemic birds, and many more animals.
- After finish your safari, you will drive back to the hotel at Anuradhapura.
